Hi My name is Rachel & My husband is Adam we are the breeders behind Majestic Desert Basset Hounds located in N.W , AL. Our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth, up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We feel so blessed to have our Basset Hound breed in our lives for 18 yrs , and love getting to share them with other individuals and families! our goal for years is to help improve this Beautiful breed we breed for temperament, health structure and of course CUTENESS we continue to learn more about the breed as You never stop learning and improving.
All of our adult dogs are DNA Health Tested through PAWRINT Genetice health testing . We test for the following: Lafora, Thrombopathia

*****I watched Majestic Desert Basset Hounds for about a year on Facebook before buying my sweet girl from them. I like that their puppies are born and raised inside and are touched and loved by their family from day 1. I also like the safety precautions that are taken when you visit to pick your puppy at about 4 weeks. They post pictures and videos of the puppies at least weekly and you get to watch them grow until they are ready to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks. My puppy is now 3 years old and has been such a great addition to my family. She has a great disposition and is such a love bug! I would definitely buy a puppy from them again..... Michele Fite***

Our Gus Gus is a perfect basset specimen. A little goofy, often sleepy, and very loving and tolerant with all the attention from our kids. The kids spend hours playing and cuddling with him daily. We are so glad that we found Majestic Desert Basset. They take their lineage seriously. I would totally trust them if we wanted to expand our family.

I fell in love with Basset hounds about a year ago . They are such amazing Dogs . I decided to search for a wonderful breeder and this is where Majestic Desert comes in to my journey. I prayed i could find a Christian breeder and i did . Majestic desert is HONEST and if you go to there page and read about them you will be amazed. There dogs are all healthy and are treated like royalty. We picked our pup up October 3,2020 . WOW Mandy Rose is beyond what words can really describe Majestic basset gave us a beautiful gift a healthy pup. The owner took the time to take me thru all the paperwork so i could see she was up to date on shots and to explain to me any questions i might have . We left extremely happy and knowing we made the right choice on breeders . ***We found Majestic Desert Basset after we had lost our 14 year old basset. They were so great to work with and took such great care of our two girls before we came to pick them up. We saw so many videos and pictures of our babies being loved on and playing while they were waiting to come home to us. We met mom and dad of our babies and they had awesome personalities.
